Leave No Comma Behind

When writing a parenthetical phrase with commas, don’t exclude the second comma.

WRONG: Craig is on Facebook, a popular social-networking site instead of doing his job.
RIGHT: Craig is on Facebook, a popular social-networking site, instead of doing his job.
